To begin with we asked ourselves some questions to get us thinking about what problems are not being addressed within the community of Knoxville, TN and the University of Tennessee:

• What concerns UT students and faculty and Knoxville citizens?

• Which problems are going unnoticed?

• Which issues require unconventional solutions?

• Have these problems been addressed in other cities in America? How?
